    On second thought, wouldn't yucky chemicals from the tires leech into the soil? Hmmmmm.....

    I think maybe if they are ground
    up, the tires are not that great as
    mulch, but if they are killers for
    veggies then there are gonna be
    bajillions of dead people who ate
    their little new potatoes grown that way inside old tires.

    Yeah, that's kinda how I feel. I'm so going to do this in our back yard. My tiered beds are FULL and huzzband doesn't want to roto-till any more yardage...
