You know it's gonna be a good show when THESE GUYS are in the lobby of the concert hall:

Ok, so Ladysmith Black Mombazo was amaaaaazing. If you haven't seen them live, you should. It's an auditory, visual, spiritual, emotional EXPERIENCE. My kids sat transfixed the entire two hours and agreed afterwards it was "the best live performance" they've ever seen.

I wanted so badly to unobtrusively pull out my little FLIP camera and record LBM singing "Amazing Grace" with my Dad's gospel choir, but there was a strict "No Cameras" policy during the performance. The elderly ushers, though petite, looked FIERCE (even though I know Tae Bo, they prolly woulda kicked my butt). I did, however, manage to capture precious few seconds of these guys, whose drumming filled the lobby with magic and joy:

  1. I just came to your blog from a comment on Bossy. I've been poking around. I like you. Alot.

  2. In the words of Barry, "Oh, Mandy!"
I posted a Very Special Link as my way of saying thanks for the props! :)
